Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Amani Digital LLC("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our websites — amanidigital.com, app.amanidigital.com and prism.amanidigital.com. The Prism desktop and mobile applications do not use cookies; what they store locally is described in our Privacy Policy. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience.

Cookies can be "persistent" (remain on your device until deleted or expired) or "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser).

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Essential Operations: Enable core functionality like authentication and security
  • Performance: Understand how visitors interact with our platform
  • Functionality: Remember your preferences and settings
  • Analytics: Measure and improve our services

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These cookies are required for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or setting your privacy preferences.

3.2 Analytics Cookies (Performance)

3.3 Local Storage and Similar Technologies

Most of what we keep in your browser is not a cookie. The law here covers anything stored on or read from your device, so we list it too. None of the following is transmitted to us automatically the way a cookie is.

The Prism desktop and mobile applications are not web pages and set no cookies. What they store on your device is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We do not control these cookies. Third parties that may set cookies include:

  • Google Analytics: Web analytics service (Privacy Policy)
  • PostHog: Product analytics (Privacy Policy)
  • Stripe:When you proceed to checkout we redirect you to Stripe's hosted payment page, where Stripe sets its own cookies under its own policy. Stripe does not set cookies on our pages. (Privacy Policy)
  • Sentry: Error and crash reporting. Sentry runs on all pages, including before you make a cookie choice, because it is how we find out the site is broken. It stores identifiers in your browser and, when an error occurs, may capture a masked replay of the surrounding moments. Its traffic is served from our own domain, so content blockers will not intercept it. (Privacy Policy)
  • Cloudflare: Bot protection on sign-up (Privacy Policy)

Google Analytics and PostHog load only after you grant analytics consent, and never on assessment pages.

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

5.1 Cookie Consent Banner

When you first visit our platform, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or customize your cookie preferences. Analytics is off until you turn it on, and we honour your browser's Do Not Track setting.

To change your choice afterwards: if you are signed in to the business platform, use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Elsewhere, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again on your next visit. Either route resets your choice and re-asks rather than editing it in place. You can also email privacy@amanidigital.com and we will action it.

5.2 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these settings in the "Options" or "Preferences" menu. For more information:

Note: Blocking all cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of our platform, including logging in and saving preferences.

6. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. We currently respond to DNT signals by disabling analytics cookies when detected. However, we recommend using our cookie consent mechanism for more granular control.

7. Legal Basis for Cookies (GDPR)

Under GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Essential Cookies: Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) - necessary for the platform to function
  • Analytics Cookies: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) - only placed after you provide consent
  • Functional Cookies: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) - only placed after you provide consent

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this policy.
